A very relaxing experience. My head doesn't really have a "off" setting, and I have to work quite hard to relax... I use sound and massage units to quieten my mind,These glasses work wonderfully with my Kasina MindSpa - a nice alternative to the dark glasses. I like having the choice.
Awesome Ganzfield glasses for the Kasina! Great open eyed patterns and colors and also great with closed eyes. Well built and easy on the eyes ,no strain or stress just pure color. Great range from dim to bright.
I bought these ganzframes after I accidentally rolled over and broke my original ones in my sleep. This pair is much sturdier, even if it's a little bulky, and now I have the option to use with eyes closed OR open.
Finally, the 'eyes open' take on Ganzfeld. It works, and gives a new perspective on Light & Sound devices.
I would consider this a near-essential upgrade to the Kasina system. Not that the Kasina is "broken" as it is, but this increases the range of experiences, pleasantness and encourages regular use to really pushes the Kasina into a new level of utility.Prior to this, my wife didn't particularly enjoy the the Kasina experience...that has changed. The closed-eye system is great, but since you are filtering through the flesh of the eyelids, the color balance is skewed (the patterns don't seem as crisp, but that's perceptual). With the Deep vision you can use the system either open OR close eyed. The open eyed gives incredible color-organ experiences with a wider variety and the close eyed still delivers the original experience for semi-conscious experiences.I'm not going to comment or claim any specifics about neuro-physical effects or benefits, but even if I am just gaining relaxation or entertainment - that's fine. The skirts are maybe just a little small for my face so the isolation is very good, but not total - and tht's a face shape issue.the glasses themselves are little deeper (protrude out from the face) more than the picture suggests, but I believe that's probably needed to ive adequate diffusion before hitting the ganzfeld screen (the whole point is to not have artifacts in the viewing field after all)We are currently experimenting with the open-eye session this season to casually see if it has any S.A.D. effects (though, obviously the results will be anecdotal). But as an overall experience. I think this addition enhances the core product immensely
